Bit of a northerly breeze yesterday but the sun was out all day and it’s definitely starting to warm up. We had good seabirds offshore and large numbers of gulls all feeding on small fry just under the sea surface including quite a few Med gulls and kittiwakes. The auk colony was active with several birds flying in with sand eels and a few chicks are now just about visible on the ledges tucked in behind their parents. The female peregrine could be seen perched up on the cliffs and in flight as we came along the coast as well as seals in a few different locations.
6 Atlantic Grey Seals, two hauled out, 9 Mediterranean Gulls, adults and juveniles, Kittiwakes, Manx Shearwaters, lots of Guillemots, including 3 bridled and several chicks, Razorbills, Gannets, including juveniles, 6 Oystercatchers, 1 Peregrine Falcon, female
